LocalDisc

Author DVDs in the browser. Keep every file local.

Design menus, arrange media, and export a burn-ready plan — without uploading anything.

Three steps to a finished disc plan

LocalDisc handles the creative side in your tab. Your burner software finishes the write.

  1. 01

    Add media

Drop videos, photos, or audio from your computer. Capacity stays visible for DVD-5, DVD-9, or Mini DVD.

  2. 02

    Design the menu

Set titles, colors, layouts, and a background. Preview the 16:9 menu exactly as viewers will navigate it.

  3. 03

    Export & burn

Download your project, menu PNG, and checklist — then burn with Toast, ImgBurn, or Finder.

Everything you need before the burn

Built for home movies, archives, and keepsake discs — not cloud storage.

Add

Local file picker, drag-and-drop, reorder, rename, and a live capacity meter.

Design menu

Accent colors, button styles, grid or list layout, and optional background art.

Preview

Remote-style navigation and on-device playback so you can check the flow first.

Label

Printable disc face with your title and ink colors — ready for a quick print.

Export

Project JSON, burn checklist, and menu PNG snapshot for your authoring software.

Settings

PAL or NTSC, 16:9 or 4:3, disc capacity, and project import when you return later.

Local data only. By design.

There is no account, no cloud folder, and no upload pipeline. Media is read in-memory by your browser so you can author privately.

  • Files never leave this device
  • No sign-in required
  • Project files store metadata, not video bytes
  • Works offline after the page loads

Common questions

Does LocalDisc upload my videos?

No. Processing stays in your browser tab. Closing the tab clears in-memory previews.

Will this write to my DVD drive?

No browser can burn optical media directly. LocalDisc prepares the plan; you burn with desktop tools.

What should I export?

Use the project file to reopen settings later, the checklist for burn steps, and the menu PNG as a visual reference.
